Robert "Bob" Nesta Marley OM (February 6, 1945 May 11, 1981) was a Jamaican singer, songwriter, guitarist, and activist. He was the front man, lead singer, songwriter and guitarist for the ska, rock steady and reggae bands: The Wailers (1964 1974) and Bob Marley & the Wailers (1974 - 1981).
THE BOB MARLEY STORY is a concise document on the life of the "King of Reggae". Chronicling not only Marley's story, but the emergence of the early Rastafarian movement, this little package is pretty valuable to admirers of the form and students of Pan African history.
